Description
The Ficus Lyrata Bambino is a compact version of the well known air purifier, Fiddle Leaf Fig. A bambino slowly grows up to 1 meter and its leaves grow focusing vertically. Many prefer this because of its compact table top size which is perfect for everyone’s home office or study set up.

History
The Fiddle leaf fig plants originated from the West African coast. This plant thrives in lowland tropical rainforest and is part of the Moraceae family of plants. Its seeds land right on top of another tree to compete for sunlight in the wild which gives it access to more sun. Thus, its ability to be able to kill other plants but only in the wild. If left in the wild, Fiddle leaf fig plants may live from 50 to 70 years long but as an indoor plant, it may live from 10 to 20 years.

Propagation
On propagating a bambino from a stem-cutting we have to start on the rooting process where we put the cuttings on a container with a half-filled water and wait for a week or two for it to grow its roots. Then, we are going to proceed with the usual propagating process on soil where we put the newly rooted plant on a dry soil mix and let it settle for about a week. Afterwards, you can water directly to the plant and do the usual care tips for a Fiddle Leaf Bambino.
