Watering is normally done once every day, however, it can be watered two to three times a day on a hot weather. This herb likes its soil moist, so it’s a go signal to water once the top soil has dried already. Make sure that the water drains at the bottom of the pot when watering as well.

First, simply cut off 3 to 5 inches of stem below a node and remove the leaves on the bottom two-thirds. You can either put them in a glass of water and visibly see their roots develop, or directly into moist soil. Make sure to change the water frequently or keep the soil moist, and that they’re placed in a bright area.
