Care guide
This indoor plant in Manila thrives best in medium to bright indirect sunlight. Although they can tolerate high light as well, it would need additional care. Placing them in low-light areas can make their leaves grow darker while growth may be stunted as well. They also like their soil moist but can handle occasional dryness. The recommended watering schedule is once a week. Make sure that the excess water drains below the pot to ensure that water has reached the roots and to prevent root rot.
Propagation
This Philodendron can be propagated through stem cuttings. Simply pick a stem with its node intact. You can use the said stem for water or soil propagation. If you’ve decided on water propagation, make sure to change the water once a week or when needed. For soil propagation, you can first dip your cutting in rooting hormone (optional) and then plant in a pot of moist soil. Place in an area with bright indirect sunlight, and keep the soil moist.
