Watering is normally done once every day, however, it can be watered two to three times a day on a hot weather. This herb likes its soil moist, and won’t tolerate dry conditions. Make sure that the water drains at the bottom of the pot when watering as well.

Propagation

When propagating this outdoor plant in Manila, you can cut at least 8 cm of a top stem under a node. Remove any of the lower leaves on the stem if necessary.  Afterwards, place the stem cutting/s in water, and don’t forget to change the water once a week or when needed. Once it has developed a root system over a couple of weeks, the herb can now be potted into the soil.
